A funeral was held Saturday, February 15, 2925 for Winfred J. Stamp at the Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn, NE. An honor guard was provided by the Yutan VFW and American Legion. Burial was at the Holst cemetery near Yutan.
Winfred enlisted in the army in the last months of World War II. He served after the war at Okinawa. He was a long time resident in the Yutan area, well known and well liked.
He will be missed.
