The Yutan Veterans Country Club is located just south of the
Welcome to Yutan Sign on Highway 92. The Country Club is open for various scheduled events. Check our COMING EVENTS page
and Calendar to see when it will be open.
MEETINGS
Our regular monthly meeting is on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. There you can learn about the activities that your local post in engaged in and vote about future activities of the post. Every member who attends has a vote. Please come and enjoy a free beverage.
OUR HISTORY
The Yutan Veterans Country Club actually predates both the VFW and the
American Legion, which now make it their home, along with the American
Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion. Built before 1920,
it used to be known as the Social Hall. The American Legion Post 262
was founded in July of 1952. The VFW Post 9844 was founded in February
of 1979.
The old country club was demolished and replaced by a new building in 1995.
