The Yutan First Grade Entertained Veterans

Ed Perley - 11/15/2024

Friday, November 15, 2024.

The First Grade at the Yutan Public School invited veterans to spend the morning with them.  The veterans told the children their experience while they were in the military.  They spent a good deal of time helping them work on puzzles (not easy) and the students did one on one interviews with the veterans.

The whole hallway by the First Grade room was filled with drawings and decorations to honor the veterans.  It was clear that the students did a lot of work to prepare for this day.

Afterward, the veterans an students ate lunch with the students.
