The First Graders at Yutan Elementary School entertained veterans onThursday morning, November 2.  The veterans and children did activities, played games, read and ate snacks.  Hank Sauer presented the class with their own flag.  They were asked to safeguard the flag, and after graduating from high school, they were asked to gift it to the next class of first graders.  Afterward they served lunch for the veterans.  This continued a tradition that has been carried on for a good number of years.
