November 9, 2022 First Graders Entertained Veterans

Ed Perley - 12/1/2022

The veterans worked on puzzles with the children and they provided them with some entertainment.
Hank Sauer presented the class with an American Flat, and they promised to care for it until whey graduate from high school.  Then they will present it top the First Grade for them  care for.  Hank Sauer has done this for a good number of years.  As he has done every year, he showed the children how to fold the flag into a neat triangular shape.  Each veteran talked about what he or she did while in the military..  After that, they enjoyed a meal in the school lunchroom.  It was a lot of fun.
