Veterans Day Program Nov 2021

The Yutan VFW and American Legion performed a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Yutan High School gymnasium.  Veterans and their families were invited to be seated together on the floor.
 
Music was provided by the High School Band, directed by Christopher Weddel..
The First Grade and the Junior High Choir, directed by Matthew Gunter, also sang.  A special video honoring the veterans was shown.
 
 The guest speaker was Rick Hancock. 
 
Winfred stamp, a World War II veteran, was given a Quilt of Honor.  Awards were handed out for the Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy essay contests.   The Teacher of the Year award was also presented.
