SAUNDERS COUNTY MEMORIAL FOR VETERANS
A Memorial dedicated to men and women in Saunders County who have participated in foreign wars was completed in 2016. It is beautiful and very meaningful. It is located at the northeast corner of the Saunders County Courthouse grounds. Donations will be appreciated. Click the About Us/Photo Album tabs to see it.

HUD & VA ANNOUNCE MORE VOUCHERS TO HELP HOMELESS VETS GET INTO PERMANENT HOMES

The Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Veterans Affairs today announced the second round of HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) funding to local public housing agencies across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The $7.8 million will provide housing and clinical services for 1,120 currently homeless veterans. In May of this year, the two agencies announced $60 million in HUD-VASH vouchers.

Shingles is a very painful skin disease that results from when residual chicken pox virus in the body invades nerve cells.
